Music Lessons
Learning music isn’t just about mastering an instrument—it’s about discovering your voice, expressing yourself, and gaining the confidence to grow.
With my formal training in music education, including an associate degree in fine arts and a bachelor’s degree in music education, you’ll learn from someone who’s not only passionate about music but also about teaching it in a way that works for you.
Your lessons will be tailored to fit your learning style, favorite genres, and personal goals.
Whether you’re just starting out or already have experience, I’m here to guide you with patience, encouragement, and a plan designed specifically to help you succeed and enjoy the journey.
Piano
Everyone of any age and skill level can play the piano. One of the best things about the instrument is that it helps you learn the basics to all music!
I started playing piano at age four, and it’s been the foundation of my musical journey.
With my guidance, students can learn everything from basic scales to advanced techniques, making the piano both fun and deeply rewarding to play.
Guitar
The guitar is perfect for anyone who loves versatility and creativity. Whether it's rhythmic guitar or learning to solo you'll be able to rock out to your favorite tune!
I began guitar lessons at twelve, and it’s been a constant source of inspiration. My lessons cover everything from chord basics to advanced fingerpicking, helping students discover their unique sound while mastering this dynamic instrument.
Ukulele
One of my favorite travel instruments.
The ukulele is fun, approachable, and perfect for students of all ages. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to add a new instrument to your repertoire, the ukulele is a great way to explore Hawaiian music especially and any other kind of music!
My lessons focus on chords, strumming patterns, and rhythm, ensuring you’ll be making music in no time.
Accordion
The accordion is essentially a travel piano. An instrument that always seems to bring a smile to another's face when they hear it play! Typically polkas and waltzes are played on this instrument.
Learning the accordion may seem challenging, but with my tailored instruction, students quickly discover the joy of its rich, resonant sound.
Whether you want to bring a French café vibe to your music or experiment with its versatile tones, the accordion is a rewarding and exciting choice.
Voice
The voice is your first instrument. Everyone can learn to sing!
I began voice lessons at fifteen, and my teaching focuses on vocal technique, breath control, and expression. Learning to sing helps you to understand your voice and how it works within your body.

Everything You Need to Know Before Hitting the Right Notes
-
Begin by filling out the short online inquiry form. This form collects details like the student’s age, music experience, preferred instrument (voice, guitar, ukulele, accordion, or piano), and favorite style of music. Once submitted, I’ll review the information and reach out for a call to discuss your goals, schedule your weekly lesson time, and arrange the first month’s payment.
Lessons are held weekly in 30- to 60-minute increments. Once we agree on a time, that slot is reserved for you, and tuition is due on the first lesson of each month. Regular attendance is expected to maintain consistent progress. -
If you need to miss a lesson, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. While makeup lessons aren’t guaranteed, I’ll do my best to offer up to three alternate options if possible. For last-minute cancellations without notice, the lesson time will still be charged.
-
Yes! During our call, I’ll ask about your favorite music style and any specific songs or skills you’d like to learn. Lessons are designed to fit each student’s unique interests, skill level, and learning pace.
-
You don’t need to bring anything to the first lesson—all materials, including sheet music, books, and a personalized lesson journal, will be provided. Students should bring these materials to each subsequent lesson.
